August found us celebrating Lisa’s milestone birthday. The best gift of all was longtime friend, Lynn Sperry, from Gilbert, Az., who came to celebrate it with us. She joined in the parties given by the Lady’s and Children’s Bible Studies and the Señorita Group the days prior to Lisa’s birthday and a special luncheon in the garden on the day of her birthday. We had fun celebrating the October birthdays in the Bible study this week. Ages ranged from one to forty-five. Unfortunately, one of the Birthday Girls had to work, but we sent cake home with her daughter. Love each one of these women and we pray blessings over them. ❤️🎉🎂🎊💖🥳
We enjoyed our last big planned event for 2013! Twenty-seven ladies and who knows how many children, gathered together to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We ate festive homemade tamales and drank hot fruit punch. We celebrated December birthdays and special milestones. One of the ladies brought us a wonderful Christmas message….
What a gorgeous day God gave us for the Lady’s and Children’s annual Christmas Party. We served nearly 60 tamales, sang Christmas carols together, watched a drama and had gifts for each mom and each child.
