December Update

In July, we went to the interior of Guatemala to do a Character Presentation for one of the credit unions, with whom we work. They gathered together their entire management team, along with the Board of Directors. We brought them new ideas and techniques to strengthen their on-going character initiative.      

Along with celebrating the children’s Bible Study teacher’s birthday, “Hermana Gloria” is also completing 13 years volunteering in this ministry.  We recognized her for demonstrating the character qualities of ALERTNESS and TOLERANCE. Both Men’s and the Lady’s and Children’s Bible Studies made plans to bless Art for his birthday. His actual birthday fell on a holiday, so they celebrated the week prior. Lots of cake, special words, song made for fun events. The most meaningful to him were the prayers.

Thanks to generous donors, this ministry has had the opportunity to reach out to people with needs in our Bible Study community. Art has been overseeing various projects including the digging of septic wells, installation of outdoor bathrooms and concreting dirt floors in a home of corrugated tin.
