Kick Off 2018

This month was our kick-off for 2018 Bible Studies. We inaugurated the new colorful children’s facility. One of the girls that grew up in the Children’s Bible Study, now married and a teacher, volunteered her talent to paint the murals over the holidays. Joy was in the air as a set of very impoverished twins won 2 of the 3 backpacks we raffled off (school starts Monday). Then, using the new sidewalk that connects the two facilities, the ladies were astonished when they walked in and found the “Upper Room” (the main Bible Study room) had been expanded. During the holidays we had block walls knocked down that extended the room and left it more spacious. It is newly painted and ready to glorify God in a new year. Some of the weekly attendees were in tears because it makes such a big difference. When the children finished their Bible Study in the new children’s facility, they discovered the new trampoline the Men’s Bible Study bought for the playground. They really hopped to it!
