MOTHER’S DAY TALK

(This post was neglected due to Lisa’s mother’s passing) In May 2013, Lisa was asked by the Mayor’s office of San Lucas to deliver a Mother’s Day message to approximately 1000 women and families on the Guatemalan Mother’s Day, Friday, the 10th of May. The day started with mariachis and included many activities going on into the night. Lisa’s mother passed away two days prior to this engagement. Lisa shared scriptures and gave a tribute to her mother by donating a tree and petunias to the City of San Lucas to be planted in a public area. There was an overwhelming applause. Her mother was honored and every mother was blessed. (Below: Lisa and Art with Mayor Yener Plaza of San Lucas, Sac.)
