In August, “Agusto” celebrated six years laboring along side us in the ministry. He is joyful and diligent, but this year, we recognized him during the Tuesday night Men’s Bible Study for the character quality of FLEXIBILITY: Willingness to change plans or ideas according to the direction of my authorities. (definition per Character First) He’s a great team member!!!
We have had the joy over the recent years to attend weddings of young adults that either grew up in our Children’s Bible Study or were members of the Boy’s Club we had years ago. It has been a privilege to be a part of their lives, to know them as kids and participate in their milestone moments….
With Lisa’s birthday landing on a Thursday, the weekly Thursday Bible Study celebrated with food, flowers, fun and folly. We enjoyed our last big planned event for 2013! Twenty-seven ladies and who knows how many children, gathered together to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We ate festive homemade tamales and drank hot fruit punch. We celebrated December birthdays and special milestones. One of the ladies brought us a wonderful Christmas message….
