2016 Christmas Party

Here’s a 3 min. peak into our 2016 Christmas Party (Click on the video below). It was a joyous and yet solemn occasion. Everyone savored the traditional tamales and hot fruit punch, followed by Christmas carols. They had fun doing a gift exchange. Lisa presented gifts to the Bible Study leaders and had a small gift for each one of the ladies. The Christmas message was shared by Erica, one of the leaders. The saddest moment every year is when we have to say “good-bye” to the kids too old to come to the Children’s Bible Study. One of them has been attending since before she was born. The other will become the assistant to the Children’s Bible Study teacher for 2017. We presented them a Bible and prayed a blessing over them. Three of the ladies (pictured together in the garden) are among the original attendees when the Bible Study started 19 years ago. To God be the glory!!!
