GRADUATION

The things we take for granted…..like a high school education. That is something relatively few Guatemalan students achieve. Dayana grew up in our Children’s Bible Study and SeƱorita Group. Abandoned by her father, Art had the privilege of placing the class ring on her finger during the graduation ceremony. Thirty-one graduates, mostly Mayan Indian, made their humble parents very proud. Grown boys cried and melted in their mother’s arms expressing their gratitude for their sacrifice. Dayana, a benefactor of this ministry, is the first in her family to receive a high school education and has aspirations to go to university now. (The Guatemalan school year runs from January to October)
