Día del Niño-Day of the Child

October first, Day of the Child, is heavily celebrated here. Along with food, piñata, races and competitions, the participation of girls from the Señorita Group made it a special day. They prepared a drama for the children about the boy who cried “WOLF”. What a great lesson brought in such a visual way. God gave us a beautiful day with blue sky peaking through the clouds, which is pretty amazing considering we are in the middle of our rainy season. God loves His children! “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14  (picture gallery below)
