The Señorita Group gathered together for food, fun and folly. Somewhere in there, they studied Biblical principles, as well. They hand crafted beautiful gifts for their leader, Eufy, and for Lisa. They were filled with laughter as they enjoyed various races in the yard following their meeting.
The Ladies’ and Children’s Bible Study had a blast celebrating “hermano Arturo’s” birthday. Fun, food and a special message by ex-alumni, Roxana, made for a festive day. We put the newly finished all-purpose court to good use…all to God’s glory!
The Men’s Bible Study meets every Tuesday night. One of the young men attending grew up in the Children’s Bible Study. Other men have wives in the Lady’s Bible Study. We celebrated the children’s teacher, Gloria’s 70th birthday and 15 YEARS serving in this ministry. Celebrating a girl’s 15th birthday is a BIG thing in a Latin country and this was no exception. The ladies prepared delicious Pepián, each shared meaningful words of appreciation and we recognized her for demonstrating the Character Quality of DEPENDABILITY….
One facet of the Character First training is for schools. A local private school saw what we do and wanted it for their faculty.
