August found us celebrating Lisa’s milestone birthday. The best gift of all was longtime friend, Lynn Sperry, from Gilbert, Az., who came to celebrate it with us. She joined in the parties given by the Lady’s and Children’s Bible Studies and the Señorita Group the days prior to Lisa’s birthday and a special luncheon in the garden on the day of her birthday. Our Valentine’s Day party was filled with food, fun and festivities. We have been studying the power of the spoken word. After a long period of time not being in the states together, we spent the month of March visiting family and friends in California, Arizona and Oklahoma. It seems like we went from event to event between attending a special Baby Shower, celebrating Art’s Birthday and attending Lisa’s sister’s 50th Wedding Anniversary and family reunion….
