It’s a blessing to be asked to pray a blessing over anyone, but especially…..a bride-to-be! Lisa was asked by a good friend and neighbor to pray a blessing at the bridal shower for her new daughter-in-law to-be.
We celebrated the children’s teacher, Gloria’s 70th birthday and 15 YEARS serving in this ministry. Celebrating a girl’s 15th birthday is a BIG thing in a Latin country and this was no exception. The ladies prepared delicious Pepián, each shared meaningful words of appreciation and we recognized her for demonstrating the Character Quality of DEPENDABILITY….

After a long period of time not being in the states together, we spent the month of March visiting family and friends in California, Arizona and Oklahoma. It seems like we went from event to event between attending a special Baby Shower, celebrating Art’s Birthday and attending Lisa’s sister’s 50th Wedding Anniversary and family reunion….
In July, Amy, Conner and Sophie May spent an action-packed week here with us. Parents, Phil & Amy May, along with their two sons, Jackson and Conner, have served this ministry on teams in previous years, but this was Sophie’s first “Heritage Trip”. Sophie, now eleven, was born in Guatemala and adopted as an infant….
On August 17th, we celebrated Agusto’s 9th Anniversary working with us in the ministry. He has been invaluable and we so appreciate him. Art recognized him for demonstrating the character quality of HUMILITY, “acknowledging that achievements results from the investment of other in my life.” May the Lord continue to bless him and his family!
