Christmas Party 2018
With delicious Christmas tamales, a bounce house, gifts and lots of Christmas joy, we closed out our 21st year of meeting together on Thursdays for Bible Study. It is always a special moment when we conclude our Christmas carols with Silent Night by candlelight. Each person, young and old, received a Christmas gift. For many, it will be their only. All of the leaders were recognized with words of gratitude and a special gift of appreciation for their work this year. It is a privilege to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ, and they take it seriously. Laughter was in the air as we celebrated Jesus’ birth. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
